would anybody know if you can get the drivers door inner panel off with the door closed, need to get to my lock mechanism it's broken, tired of crawling out of the passenger side.

 

might be able to at least flex the panel away from the door if you pull the seat

 

Found a service bulletin on line for 93 f-bodys.
about broken door latches.

Shows inner panel can be removed and pulled far enough towards seat to allow access, using a mirror and flashlight it shows a small opening on latch mechanism. using a icepick or scratchawl the latch can be released.

I think I will obtain my new latch before I attempt procedure
