Door is jammed ?????
Ok my car was sitting on ramps for about 2 straight months (front) due to engine issues and I finally decided to roll it off the stands. Now my drivers side door is jammed and will only open like 3 inches before it hits my front fender. I have to lift up on the door hard to get it open, so what am I supposed to do to fix this???
Re: Door is jammed ?????
If the car was supported by its wheels on the ramps there should not of been a problem caused by that.
Did you leave the door open for a prolonged time period that it could of sagged the hinge?
It sounds to me like a problem with the hinge. I'd recommend checking the hinges for play. You might end up pulling the fender and replacing the hinges. Get it all lined back up and replace the fender... or it might just need adjustment. Post a picture of the door to fender gap with the door closed.

Re: Door is jammed ?????
I'm assuming it drops at the rear? It sounds like you need to adjust the hinge, or replace it if it is showing excessive signs of play.
Adjusting it requires removal of the fender, which is not really that hard.
1) remove fender
2) open door and have a friend hold it up
3) loosen the hinge bolts that go into the carbody
4) have your friend lift the door up a little bit
5) tighten the bolts back up and test it
6) repeat if necessary
7) reinstall the fender, be carefull to get it lined up right.
I've had nearly the entire body off my car, hood, nose, fenders, drivers door...
Getting it all to line up perfect is challenging, but not impossible. Just be carefull and dont be in a hurry.
