My long tube headers burnt through my evaporator case and I was wondering if this created enough vacuum to affect my idle. I just put a new motor in and havent really heard it run with this cam. My AC isnt hooked up yet, could I cap off the vacuum T that goes to the firewall on the passenger side to cut vacuum from the evaporator for now? THanks for your input guys.

The black plastic box does not draw engine vacuum - no big deal. Regardless, you could block off the HVAC line either way.

 

"the vacuum T that goes to the firewall on the passenger side" if for the vacuum controls on the HVAC control panel.
