Does a CHEAP low-beam headlight exist for a 93-97 Z28?

So I go into Autozone yesterday and asked for a low beam headlight for my 93 Z28. The guy comes back with a $25.99 Sylvania bulb. I started laughing and told him that I don't want a "high intensity" bulb, just a plain 'ole cheapo. He said that bulb was the cheapest they carry. Bye-bye.

I then drove across the street to Advanced Auto Parts where I found the exact same Sylvania bulb but for $29.99! Are you kidding me? Needless to say I didn't buy anything and am still driving around with a Popeye.

I've owned this car for over 10 years now and I specifically remember purchasing low (and high) beam headlights many years ago for around $8. What the hell happened to the headlight industry? Where can I find an El Cheapo?

Thanks in advance!

They are that expensive. Always have been. The beams fit only a small number of cars. You're going to have to deal with it like everyone else.

The bulb can be removed and glued back in... Search the Appearance Section... There are a few threads about this... Most change over to silverstars..

Don't be cheap! You want to play, you have to pay. Deal with it or sell the car.
