Do cam shafts cause faulse misfires?

OK i have the whole LT4 cam and springs. RR. and on the Scan Tool the car is showing Misfire's some are rolling and some are random misfire's. So the question is do cam shafts cause a faulse misfire or is the car actually misfireing under a load misfires seem to stop.

The Lope is what causes it from what I'm told. The pcm sees lope as an erratic crank rotation, in other words, a misfire. You can adjust the random misfire parameters in the PCM to only come on a certain RPM or so to prevent the light from coming on.
