Disabling Vats key pellet gone bad!
Im curently trying to disable my vats , i looked on shoebox howto to disable teh vats , I use my multimeter to measure the ohms on the key pellet i get no reading!, can anyone help My car is a 94Z I just need to get the right Resistance So I can disable with a resistor
Re: Disabling Vats key pellet gone bad!
i dont think that is a possible value???
http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#pass_key
that is not in range of any of the values of the pelets?
check the cleanlyness of the terminals again, then the key, make sure everything is connected properly.

Re: Disabling Vats key pellet gone bad!
I checked with the ohm meter again and got 4.54 area , that would be pellet 11 range , can someone give me a resistor or a combo of resitors that would equal that, I bought a 4.70 1/2 resistor and it did not work can anyone point me in the right direction thanks
Re: Disabling Vats key pellet gone bad!
if it is number 11 then this should work...

are you sure you did the wiring right... when you are done, one side of the wire will be dangling around with nothing attached, just want to make sure because it took me a few tries when i did it
