Deleting Skip Shift

How do I get rid of or delete the "Skip Shift"?

You can either buy a skip shift eliminator which is just a fancy plug with a resistor in it. It runs about $30 but looks nice. Either that or you can get a $.99 resistor from radio shack and put it in the connector. The resistor value you need, i can't remember. Brent use to have a how to guide but the link is dead, like so many of them are starting to become.
