Unhappy cracked taillight

hey everyone, I've searched the forum and the net but can't really find any information on fixing a taillight

so my passenger side tail light has a crack in it. it's about 12-16 inches in length I would say and is cracked at an angle not straight on- if that makes sense. The crack looks like a papercut you would recieve, and as you look at it you can see the crack gets progressively deeper. just yesterday I was using some meguirs plastX (sp?) and some of it got caught in the crack and now its so noticable but there is no way to get it out. how would I get rid of this crack?

so my question is, is there a way to repair it? could I use a dremel to "sand away" at the crack and then put some type of sealant or sandable plastic glue on it? if so, what?

any help on this would be appreciated. n a new light is out of the question, as is one from the junkyard. thanks

I'm guessing since it's an 00 WS-6, then it probably has the honeycomb lights. They cost a little more than 80 bucks for a set. I'd say comb the classifieds here or find a single on eBay. Either way, if you repair it, you'll probably still be able to see it.

Sounds like you need to try again at getting a replacement.
