cracked dash pad panel

ok, so I installed a 94 instrument cluster in my car today..
Well the dash pad panel cracked and I priced them at chevy and they want
$160.00 FOR A NEW ONE any suggestions????

Look around the for sale section for somebodt parting out a car. For that to crack is a real commorn problem, mine did it going over a speed bump

The other alternative is www.gmpartsdirect.com I got my new one from them last spring, it was around $103 after shipping. Its part number:10267171. It comes with new foam insulation that is much better than the original rubberized carpet stuff they put in at the factory. My dash pad melted into the rubber and that caused it to break in several places. The new one just "floats" on foam. Not only that but the foam is about 2lbs lighter than the original stuff.
