Copperseal Illegal?
Just got a New York State inspection last week, and the "tech" (had to show him where my o2 sensors and cats were 
) told me that flex pipe and copperseal were illegal in NY state. This true?? and if so, why?

so what all the front wheel drive cars there that come from the factory with flexpipes have to have them replaced with solid pipes? Sounds like bs to me. Go look on the internet like Rich said.
