i have just replaced the MAF on my 97 Camaro with LT1 engine, the issue is i still get the error code P0101 on my OBD2 scanner.

what could cause this error to hold on? from the scanner i see that the MAf is working, and when i disconnect it the engine runs rough! so it seems to be that it should be working properly?

Did you clear the code after replacing the MAF?

What does the MAF read at idle?

The code is based on a rationality check, comparing the mass air flow reported by the MAF sensor to the mass air flow calculated using the speed-density method.
