Re: clicking sound

the fans should not be making a clicking noise it sounds more like the ac compresser is clicking when it cycles

Re: clicking sound

On a properly charged system the a/c clutch will cycle on and off. There is a temp sensor in the evaporator coil that turns off the a/c clutch at 33* F and back on at 36* F this is to prevent it from freezing up. HOWEVER in a system with a LOW charge the a/c clutch will also cycle on/off as the coolant pressure drops below a predetermined level. In that case the a/c will not be blowing cool enough air which is very noticeable. If yours is cold it looks like the first case is what you are seeing.
