Chugging?

ok folks! got the flywheel fresh from the machine shop.. heres what i got..

resurfaced FW, spec 2 clutch and LT4 Valeo pressure plate.

BRAND NEW 383 LT1 stroker motor, Estimated 450 hp TQ ???

took the car for a ride and it chugs at low speed and RPM under 20 mph..

the engine runs like a raped ape.. and no vibrations at all. it just does not was to maintain a speed/RPM and will chug violently..

any ideas?!

Heads/cam specs? Who tuned it?

By "chugs" do you mean it surges, or it has no guts until the RPM comes up?

Cam is a Comp custom, 236/242 @ 0.50 .544/.541 110 lsa 2* advance 108* intake centerline

Bryan Herter from PCM for less did the base tune, n trying to get it drivable so i can drive it vice trailer it the 3 hours to the nearest capable dyno.

sitting at idle, it runs great. it only throws a code for a 02 sensor that i need to change. throttle is very responsive and it feels great overall..

by chugging i mean a violent back and forth motion, almost like the clutch is slipping and grabbing and slipping again and again. if i get it up to say 3000 rpms it smooths out but at 15-20 mph ( base housing speedlimit) i used to go in second before the motor change.. and to keep the constant speed i have to be in 3rd or 4th.. mind you i only driven it around the block.. n i dont like lugging motors out.. but its the only thing that will keep me from being thrown from the seat.

Thanks!
