I think my driverside power window is gonna go soon. When i try and put it up it either won't go at all or it goes alittle bit, stops, I have to wait, then it will go up the rest of the way. I hate how slow our power windows are, since i'm gonna need a new moter anyway does any company make faster power window motors?

There's a thread floating around about the internals of some kind of restrictor thingy that prevents the windows from using the full power to roll it up. I'm pretty sure Shoebox from the board here can bring that up for you because I saw him post about it. Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about since I'm a lil fuzzy about the details.
I'ts also good to replace that old worn-out window switch that your window will roll up a lil faster. But that's if your switch is tired and worn out. I replaced both switches and noticed a significant difference, not dramatically but obviously it helped alot.

 

Installing a relay helps quite a bit. There's a couple LONG threads about that one too.

 

i heard putting a bigger gauge wire increaes the power and will make them move faster, thats if the motor is still good

Lol, I think he was messing around! But anyways, if you can fabricate and weld, just buy a set of actuators, I'd bet they would last longer and be faster than these stock pos's window motors.
