i am wondering if an automatic radiator will work in my 6 speed z28 and if it will what do i need to do to the radiator, plug transmission cooler lines? or do i need to find a radiator for a 6 speed? I'm jw because i found a used automatic radiator and i want to know if it will work on mine.

Plug or leave the transmission cooler lines open. It won't matter.

I believe the radiators only come "universal", meaning that they have plumbing for both the A4s and M6s. The tranny cooler for the A4 is integrated within the radiator and has 2 ports. The tranny cooler is "walled off" from the main radiator so there's no need to plug the ports other than to keep spiders out.

My radiator just split open last week. Autozone only sells universal Fbody radiators. Meaning they have the hook ups for automatics even if you don't have one. You don't have to plug the holes if you don't want to. Mine had plugs so i just left them in place.
