Battery should have been fully charged when you installed it. It will last for a little while without even having an alternator recharging it. Your connections should be checked and cleaned. Sounds like you have something not hooked up right or the connection is dirty or bad. Have you done anything to the car recently that might explain this? Have you had the battery checked to see if it was bad to start with?

Well I barely had put the the new battery n drove it in night bout 20 miles n then it died. A while back i had put an alarm n stereo n it had died once but I recharged the battery n lasted about 2 months . Could it be something with the fuse box or maybe the cables that connect the battery to alternator are worn
