Question A/C throwing code 67, just reset or......?

My A/C stopped blowing cold (and maybe is just not switching on, didn't seem to be) and my Scanmaster threw code 67 - "A/C pressure sensor circuit error" (66 specifies low so I assume 67 is high). I read some threads about people just resetting the PCM and the problem going away. Is this a bad idea because I might not be fixing the problem but just resetting it until it pope up again? In other words if I reset and everything's fine, should I assume things are fine or should I check some things out regardless? I know little to nothing about A/C ...obviously.

Use Shoebox's LT1-specific code list:

Thanks Inj' ....so can I just reset the PCM or am I asking for trouble by not looking into what threw the code (could I cause more problems by not addressing it)?

Resetting the PCM may clear the code, but if you don't fix whatever caused it, its just going to pop up again. It won't hurt anything to try clearing it. Pull the "PCM BAT" fuse for 30 seconds.
