A/C Question inside

A/C Question inside

I was wondering what sensors/relays are involved with the a/c system within a 94 z28 because about a week ago it started to blow hot air and the compressor doesnt engage any help would be great thanks

Might just be low on referigerant, there's a low pressure switch that will keep the compressor from coming on if that's the case. Look around at all the fittings for anything that looks like referigerant/oil might be leaking.

hmm i had someone disconnect it and he tap into the low pressure switch and the car suddenly cut off it was weird any idea why it did that from what he says.... i dunno if i believe him but he said when he tapped into that wire that it engaged the clutch and if the bearings in the clutch are bad and its hard to spin the pulley the car will cut off is he right?
