Everything I found in my searching was about the compressor not coming on, but mine won't cylce at all, it just stays on until it freezes up. It wasn't blowing cold so I put a can of 134 in it yesterday. Now it's ice cold but still won't cycle the compressor. It's been like this for a while so I would just manually turn it from A/C to just Vent until it blew warmer air then turn it back. I've changed the pressure switch on the line but that didn't do anything. Is there a switch on the compressor itself of a relay that wouldn't allow it to cycle? Thanks in advance.

check you ac relay under your hood, the contacts in the relay could be welded on . try replacing or moverng the relay to your foglights or something

 

I thought I had tried that already but maybe I'm thinking of another relay on another occasion. We'll see if that works. Thanks!
