On my 93 TA... it was like $20 + bullet... to have my piped cut behind the single cat, and the bullet welded in. Also had em cut the pipe behind the rear axle, so you don't even see tips in the back.. wasn't sure how it would look... but LOVE it. Later i spent another $20-25 to have the cat cut out and straight pipe welded in... sounds awesome... but I am gonna go A LITTLE quieter eventually.

Re: bullet mufflers

you should check out my website, bottom of page 2 i think

i have a bullet muffler welded on behind the off-road pipe, a 3" Ipipe and then another bullet with a turndown tucked up under the trunk.
it sounds AWESOME and was cheap. i also painted the rear bullet and turndown with black exhaust paint so that it blends in with the underside of the car. not visible from the back.

Loud... pshh. You just gotta decide how loud it should be to OTHER people... cuz if you dump way back like mine... it is quite bearable... even with only one bullet, and a straight pipe instead of a cat.

I will get pics.. if you can IM me or anything.. that would be easiest... if not i'll just post.

I have had it all....the bullets are fun at the track but get old driving it all the time...but that might have been do to the fact that I was running a 3.73/Th350 combo with the bullets....revs were over 2500 all the time.....

Re: bullet mufflers

i'm going to run a catco cat or stock cat with the bullet and then cut out the stock muffler and put pipe in there to retain the dual exhaust look, it will look stock! he he. The over the axle part will be like the SLP Loudmouth or Borla were there is a y-pipe. I have heard that this setup sounds like the loudmouth WITHOUT the raspy and poping sound!

Re: bullet mufflers

i have the slp loudmouth with the bullet muffler welded in place of the slp resonator, and I do not have a "poppy sound". I think it sounds really good, especially at highway speeds
