Brights won't work.

So I replaced my turn signal switch in my 99 z28 and ever since my brights havent worked. It doesnt even click when I pull the switch. But the turn signals and everything else on the switch works.

Re: Brights won't work.

It isn't a fuse or relay. Because when you pull the bright switch usually it clicks. Now it doesn't do anything. The switch I installed was an AC Delco switch from an auto parts store. Everything works but the brights.

Re: Brights won't work.

figured that just.
Something must have went wrong in the installation or you have brand new switch that doesn't work
Just curious have you tried to use it in both directions ??

The actual dimmer switch is on the lower part of the column. You might want to check to see if the rod from the stalk is actually moving it far enough to operate it.
