When you try and give it the gas it boggs down and then takes off any suggestions what to do about this? any info will help.

 

there is some 400 replies to this in the lt1 tech forum, its called "hesitation off idle" i have the same problem and i cleaned the mass air flow sensor with windex, sand down the coil pack at the driver side front of the engine, drilled some holes in the botton of the stock air box so it can breathe and made the vacuum hoses snug and replace the old ones with new and unclogged the catalytic coverter made sure of no exhaust leaks and now it runs much better....still has some hesitation when i floor it in overdrive so ill be replacing the oxygen sensors. idk if it is the right fuel, ive been putting 87 octane in it, but i just bought the car and it had no drivers manual.
