Blown Lights

Here's a real Crazy problem...

I have a 95 LT1 Z28 with a T56 Transmission and about 110,000 Kilometers on it (or about 75,000 miles).

About every 3 months I have to replace one or both dim headlights. They just die. High beams have no problems, and I never had to replace them yet (owned the car for about 3 years now).

I have tried different manufacturers and different sources for the light, but they keep dying!

I have to assume that there is too much voltage going through them.

The Car used to have a command start, but has since been taken out.

Anyone have any ideas???

Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you.

Im not sure about your problem. All I can say is that I had problems with blowing various fuses; lately I had my interior lights blow when accelerate. The problem was in the wiring harness, that fixed the problem. Good luck.

Not sure if you are going to find an answer in "Fuel and Ignition".... lets try moving it to "General F-Body Tech and Info".
