Exclamation Crocked Window?

Hi i been having problems with my window for a few weeks now.. My passenger side window seems to be crocked. It lines up with wether strip but for some reason the windo can be moved about 1\4 in up and down. I can move the side with the rearview mirror up so it can have a good seal with the weather strip but then other side has a weak seak but no gap.. I can do this vice versa.. either way it wont stay in place. i dont think they should be able to move like that.. i looked at the shoebox thing and didnt seem to work.. the motor is fairly new and goes up and down great. seems like the window is loose. i can pick it up from the inside and make it have a pefect seal but it wont stay.. what do i need to do.. thanks

Remove the door panel and take a look at what is going on. It's the only way.

sounds like something in one of the tracks or regulator is worn out.

the panel is off and the window goes up and down fine but just not enough to have a tight seal.. i have even tried having someone hold the window as high as it goes while i retighten all the srecw but just wont stay that way..

One of the sliders in the regulator is broken or has popped off of the track. USe your hands and eyes and watch all of the sliders when the window moves up and down. there is a video of the motion on shoebox's website. if the slider is disconnected from the window you can put it back on using a C clamp and slowly cranking it on. Be sure to put something soft between the window and the clamp. There are replacement sliders in the HELP section at auto part stores if needed.

ok i checked the tracks they seemed ok but i did noticed something the window goes way to down.. i mean when the window is all the way down it pushes a lil more. it makes the door panel expand outward. it even takes longer to start to go up.. after it starts going up its fine with no problems.. the driver side window doesnt do that what can it be..
