The "click" thing does not click on left hand turns if I push it all the way down and the stalk stays down. Right hand turns work normally. If I hold it down for lane changes (rare in Texas) it goes back up but not if I push it all the way down for a turn. How can I fix it? The blinker fluid level is fine

 

Your gonna have to replace the turn signal assembly. I beleive there is a tab or something that makes that clicking and also catches and releases the turn signal.

I always disconnect the airbag connector under the steering column (yellow connector) first.

I think I've got one. Parts store should have them. Don't know how much.
