big odd electrical problem...Help ASAP please!

I pulled into my girlfriend's driveway a little while ago, couldnt get ahold of her and went to back out. In order to be quiet I rolled the car out of the driveway, when I went to start it...nothing. My lights turn on everything is functional electrical wise. I tried to jump start it just for the hope of something and nothing happened. I know I have power to my battery and I think the starter is working. When I try to start it up, I hear the clicking from the starter trying to start it up but its not turning over. ANY IDEAS??? I am clueless other than the starter possibly going bad but all of a sudded? I cant picture that. HELP!!!!!!

BTW.....I just installed flowtech longtubes about a weeke ago...might be of help?

If your headlights stay bright when you attempt to start the car, you may have a poor connection to the starter, bad starter or a problem with the ignition switch circuitry. Try jumping your starter at the solenoid to see if it cranks. (jump the purple wire terminal to the battery cable terminal-best if you have a remote starter switch)

Re: big odd electrical problem...Help ASAP please!

A guy here just had the same problem on his Z06. The long tubes had burned his starter cables almost in half. Take a look with a flashlight and a mirror. I know that they were planning on insulating the new cables, but I left the shop before they finished, so I don't know what they used.

Hope it is this simple,

PJ
