Best place to get cam gasket set

Hello, im upgrading my cam, so if you know the best place to get all the gaskets for a cam only swap--Thanks in advance--I see Thunderaccing has a set, but not sure if thats a little high for my 97--But it is all GM stuff. Do shops normally use their gaskets or would it be cheaper for me to buy my gaskets and give to the shop? Had a guy around the corner put my first cam in. Going to shop this time, hadnt seen him for awhile. Thanks for your help Dwayne

It's generally a bad idea to bring parts to a shop for installation. Unless you are sure you are getting exactly what is needed. Let the shop get the gaskets.

Check with Combination Motorsports. I believe they have a set for a good price. Might have to call to find out though.

Re: Best place to get cam gasket set

Thanks for the help, I thought by bringing my own gaskets i "hopefully" would know what was used and not a cheap gasket and maybe it would be a little cheaper---Not knowing any better i thought if you take a part off it would be better to use a new gasket--So i quess its either Thunderracing or Combination Motorsports. Thanks Dwayne
