battery re-location

I was wondering if anyone had any how too's on battery relocation?

Why do you need to relocate your battery? Will this be for street use only or do you plan on going to a sanctioned race track?

I'm wanting to move it out of the engine compartment to gain more space. I was planning on putting it in the useless cubby hole near the t-top rack
