Exclamation Battery/Alternator Failure? Stumpted.

Thursday:
-7am: Car won't start. Low battery, doors won't lock with key fob.
-9am: Car won't jump start off my buddys WRX
-5pm: Friend comes over to help pull battery and get it tested, I shut door after popping my hood and alarm goes off. I think WTF and hop in. Fires right up.

Saturday:
10pm: Driving to a friends, car is dying at stop lights and I'm keeping my foot on the gas pedal to keep it running. Pull over in a neighborhood. Won't start. Call friend and try to jump it.
Sunday:
11am: Car won't start, we take battery to get it tested. 70% charge, good cranking amps (can't remember the reading) They charge it, and I reinstall. Car fires up. I drive home. Its dying at lights again, fired right back up though.
Monday:
4pm: Car fires up. I shut it off, take the alternator out and get it tested. Passes multiple times at different locations.

I'm stumped. What else could it be? The battery is a ~3 year old Delco and the terminals look good.

This could be completely wrong but my car was acting crazy because of this for a little bit. It would lock up and not start, even if it was jumped, or start right up.

Anyway, the AC pulley locked up and would free up sometimes, depending on it's mood I guess.

The sales rep at O'Reillys said that the bearing on the alternator was probably on its way out. (It did tick some) but my dad didn't think it'd cause the problem, so at this point I'm probably going to take it home and get it diagnose by my mechanic then take the Silverado back to school.

If the alternator bearing is going out, replace the alternator. My brother let his go and it seized up on him. Car died and could not be restarted.

Reinstalled alternator today. Fired right up. 13 volts.

Not going to drive it much because I need to take it home this weekend and don't want to hitch a ride to get my battery charged again.

My roommate works at the Jeep dealership in town and I think he's going to be able to diagnose it for me, pending they aren't busy.
