Batteries?
I got my hands on an optima red top with 1000CA and 800 CCA model 34/78. Will this work on a LS1 or will the Amps ruin my starter? Any help greatly appriciated

as long as it fits under the hood and your cables will hook up, it will be fine




a starter(pretty much any electrical device) will only draw as many amps as needed

I ruined a starter on my truck before - they told me it was because of LOW voltage - I knew the battery was bad...and procrastinated...
