Formula and Trans Am

I was just wondering what are the differences between the Formula and the Trans Ams from '98 to '02. The reason I ask is that I think I read somewhere the the Trans Am was just a Formula that was tuned by SLP and had the intake and the exhaust upgraded. Or am I way off?

Way off. A T/A and a Formula are the same thing the appearence is just different, and the base options are different.

Re: Formula and Trans Am

Don't forget the weight diffrence between the two. The T/A is the heaviest of the F-bods. Don't get me wrong, it's not alot but for a real racer the Z or the Formy is the way to go. JMO

Re: Formula and Trans Am

1993-2002 Formula and T/A have the same suspension, engine, and transmission.

T/A has fog lamps, ground effects, and high rise spoiler (93-95 T/A GT)

T/A has lumbar adjustable seats

Firehawk is an upgraded Formula from SLP or GM depending on the year

WS6 option was offered in Formula and T/A 96 on up

1998-2002 T/A's all had leather and T-Tops, optional on Formula

hey bud you gonna send the lifters we paid for?

You were paid on the December 20th by paypal from 30thss@sbcglobal.net.

I have emailed you on more than one occasion as well as him, we sent all information to your knightrider email.

Do you remember this email?

Hi, $50 shipped to 63049 sounds good enough for me. Yes there are 27,000
miles on the lifters. I have also attached some pictures of the lifters.
Sorry if the pictures arent the greatest, if you would like I could take
some more tomorrow when there is better lighting. If the pictures are good
enough and you want to buy them, my paypal is raad115@hotmail.com .If you
choose to buy them, I will ship them out as soon as i recieve the payment.

Thanks,
Austin[/i]

I expect these to be in transit ASAP. Seeing how you are trying to sell these items again. I hope you arent trying to scam.

Re: Formula and Trans Am

One minor addition, the WS6 package was only offered on the Formula's from '96 to '00, there were no '01/'02 Formula WS6's, nor were there many built period through the whole 5 year offering.

You can also get lumber and side bolster adjustable seats in a formula, not just a t/a
