i was looking on car-part.com for used motors and what comes up is alot of astro/safari ones...so are they the same?

 

I'm not sure but:
Are you sure your motors are dead / dying? Alot of the time its just because hte wiring was too small to support prolonged use and the motors slow down drastically because of lack of power. Look into the relay mod if you think there is a chance your motors arent dead.

 

well i did some digging and found that 85-03 astro/safaris use the same motor.

 

yes. that is what i used when i replaced mine.
