Anyone know the weight of the stock seats?

1994 Z28 Power driver seat - non power passenger seat.

What do these weigh? I'm trying to put the car on a diet and seriously considering buying 2 "baja" seats and having my upholstery guy custom pad them for me. The car is no longer a daily driver and the most seat time that I put in it on any given trip is about an hour so comfort is not 'that' big of a deal. The added padding would help and not add much weight to the already light 12lbs each seats.

So anyone running these seats? Know the weight of the stock seats?

Opinions otherwise?

Thanks for the spreadsheet - any idea as to how accurate the weights are?

As a point of reference, my cloth, non-power seats weighed 35-36# each. The Corbeau Forza replacement weighed 16#, but the "slider" bracket added anothe 10#. The Forza is a very comfortable seat.

Thanks again guys!

Brent your site is actually saved as a favorite and has been for quite some time now - not sure why I didn't think to look there.

I've seen the LS1.com spreadsheets - was curious as to how accurate it actually was.

Looks like i'm going to go with some Summit bucket seats - 12lbs each. Will have to look intot he bracket weights tho - thanks Fred - to make sure that i'm not going to add more weight on top of that.
