anyone else have this problem?
anyone else have this problem?
driving from daytona to orlando this afternoon, i decided to take my tops off. well once i hit 70 my carpet in the back that goes over the fuel tank flys up.
so i slow down, try to push it back into place. thats a no go. so i have to pull over and push it back under the plastic sides. get back on the road, hit 70, carpet flys up again. now i am pissed. pull over, put tops back on car. and drive with the windows down and the carpet is fine.
has this happened to anyone else? not sure of a way to fix it, other then stapling the interior carpet to the trunk carpet
p.s. another thing i noticed is I tried to roll windows up all the way and once they were almost all the way up the car started vibrating, then once they were all the way, the car shaked and vibrated like crazy? any ideas on that, did the windows stiffen the car up with the tops off?
sorry for boring post, just wondering if its just me or all t-top cars have these problems?

Re: anyone else have this problem?
Glued the carpet down? Don't go nuts but something to hold it? I don't have tops but I've never seen or heard of that happening. It is tucked under the plastics in the hatch correctly? It it behind the rear seats correctly?
