another 68 question

Hi how fast did the stock 1968 camaro covertible base 327 get? thanks

Apparently, there were two version of the 327 offered then, one with 210 HP and one with 275 HP. I will have to ask my uncle, he owns a 67,68, and 69, he would probably know for sure.

The above link was mistaken in that 275 horse 327's did get the multi leaf rear springs in 1968. They got a 12-bolt too, at least in the 4-speed cars. I owned a RS coupe so equipped back then and it ran high 14's in Pure Stock trim. Hope this helps. Paul
