Ya not only is it a HUGE waste of money, this proves that you can even do one oil change a YEAR and still have a perfectly healthy engine. (that is, when the solidity and Ph levels are monitered, by no means do I mean it is 100% safe to do so)
on average an oil change costs me 32 dolalrs... so take 15k miles a year, thats about 65 bucks in oil changes (2 changes) and 2 extra filters (nappa gold, 12 dollars). Now take your average 30 dollar change and with dude changing it every 2.5k, that will save you 4 oil changes a year and around 120 dollars a year!
