Alternator plug

Alternator plug

SO, upon replacing my alternator, i see that the plug is plugge dinto the alternator, however the wires are sevored beyond that and didnt see them underneath. How hard to replace that?

2002 camaro, Z28, V8 . the end of the plug was still plugged in, however the wires from the plug to wherever they go were missing...

There is just one small wire. It is red and, if disconnected, the alternator will not work. The alternator has been removed in this photo. The red arrows point to the small red wire.

Here is a top side view that shows the tubing which houses the red wire with others (yellow dotted line). The red wire is the one to it's left with the larger red arrow. Click on these images to see clearer versions. These two photos were taken at very different times.
