I purchased my 94 Z from the original owner. While in his possession, he equipped a K-9 SIX-L alarm system. When I purchased the car, it was in working order, although the sensitivity was a bit high. In the past few months, it hasn't worked at all. I can use the secret button within the car to turn valet mode on and off, but I cannot use the transmitter (either of 2) to arm or disarm the alarm. I just blew it off for a while, although i've checked the ground cable previously (and its fine seemingly). Today, I was unscrewing the negative battery cable in preparation for an install and the alarm tripped. So now i'm left here wondering, "does this thing work or not?" After the install, I screwed the negative cable back in place and the voice deterrant starting flipping out... "back away from the vehicle X 10 in succession). I got in the car and turned it to valet mode to stop it. Now, again, it will not arm/disarm using the transmitters, although they both seem to be in good working order with new batteries.

Are there any suggestions? I don't know crap about crap when it comes to the wiring, so if it comes to that i'll just have to take it to someone. Is there a fuse for the alarm that I can replace?
