Im not sure what i have done or what buttions i have pressed in what combo but in my 02 z28 when i press the lock button the car no longer beeps at me. so does this mean the alarm is still set? or does it just lock the doors? and how do i make it beep again

 

Try to reset it, press and hold the lock and unlock buttons for 15 seconds it should fix the problem. If that dosen't work, remove the radio fuse and turn your ignition on and off 3 times and that should reset the whole system, all of this info is in your owners manual.

 

yeah i have been working on getting one of thoes lol. i bought the car used off auction and it never came with one.
