Air conditioning lt1/ls1
Air conditioning lt1/ls1
ls1/lt1 a/c conversion need help
(Conversions & Hybrids)
94 camaro eng swapped and stand alone Psi harness without Ac pressure switch, low mounted LS ac Compressor-.custome hoses already made to fit. I'm not sure about vacuum lines, are there some needed for Ac also not sure where my pressure switch is. Sold lt1... Also clearance issues with Ac compressor tensioner and sway bar.

Re: Air conditioning lt1/ls1
That's what I thought too, and I was curious of what the benefit would be.
If you did a full LS swap, didn't the PCM come with the cabling to connect the pressure sensor? As far as I know, the A/C will not turn on when the sensor is either not present or detects low pressure. If your custom lines don't have this connection, you will either need to add it, or figure out a way to trick the sensor into thinking the pressure is good (while understanding you run the risk or running the A/C with low or no pressure, destroying your components).
