adjusting window

i need to adjust the drivers window i need a how to on how to do it ive been trying for 3 hours now and its still the exact same as when i started the thing the troubles me is i adjusted the upper limit stop and the window still goes up to where it was before when i need it to go up just a tad bit but it doesnt even reach the limit stop

any how to's

One more thing, this is common when your window motor is dying. Eventually the motor will not go up at all. If you go up and wait a bit does it go more later or easier with the door is open and the car running? This is signs of a bad window more. (Im guessing its power windows)

no it seems to be wroking fine and it rolls up and down pretty good, im guessing if someone replaced it before they prob didnt install it right

possibly, did you check out shoeboxes site? There is a section on setting the upper limit along with a lot of other adjustements on that page.

make sure the hooks on the window that slide into the metal plates on the top of the door panel are not broke.
