1993 Z28 Factory High Rise Spoiler and Door Moldings Stock?

Hi,

I have purchased a 1993 Z28 Coupe (not t-top). I was wondering if this spoiler (see pic) was an option from the factory. Also, are the doors with the moldings/engravings a stock option? I have only seen 1 other 1993 Z28 with these styling cues.

Thanks for any help in advance.

I've never seen one like that before, so my guess is that they weren't factory options. I don't believe the front ground effects are factory either.

I have seen this door design on another 1993 before, but not sure if it is a factory option. I just purchased the car (has not arrived yet) and it only has 27,600 miles on it and seems to be in great shape by the pictures I have seen.

I was looking for a 94+ LT1 6 speed with t-bar, but ended up getting this 93 auto with hardtop roof. I didn't realize it was going to double the cars price to ship it across the boarder and to my hometown LOL

There weren't any body options thru GM until the SS's with the SLP version. It kind of looks like the Calloway style sides.

As far as appearance, I don't recall having any options other than color when I ordered my '94.

The other 1993 I once viewed with the same door design was mistaken by me for the Callaway design as well. Maybe this was an option on 1993 only. I guess I will be able to look into this further when the car arrives.

Any idea what the 1993 LT1 Auto's run in stock form? This car has the GU5 3.23 gearing. I am guessing 0 - 60MPH in approx 6.2 - 6.4 seconds and 14.4 - 14.7 in the 1/4 mile. Any idea of top speed? Maybe 150 MPH?

This is only the second Automatic car I have ever purchased and the first automatic performance car.

I would be willing to bet some small, inconsequential body part that those were not factory options. I followed the new Z's pretty closely when they first came out as I owned an '85 IROC. I've never seen a Z that looks like that. It looks like an aftermarket effects package, imo. The bottom of the front spoiler even looks like a different shade of red.

It's been a very long time, but I seem to recall most magazine road tests listing 0-60 times of around 6.0 seconds, maybe a tad faster, and 1/4 mile times of 14.0, and sometimes a shade faster. They probably run a little better after they're broken in. If the miles on your car is accurate, it should just be hitting its stride.

I don't know about the doors, but from what I can see of the spoiler, it looks like the high rise style from RK Sport.

Neither is the door molding, looks like 2000 Eclipse doors.

Maybe the other car I seen with the same door design had the same kit (if it is indeed a kit). I don't think that it was equipped with the front spoiler though.

I was hoping that these were original options, but it looks like the chances are slim. I will have to try to contact the original owner I guess.

Wow, I would be satisfied if this car could run 6.0 in the 0-60 and 14.0 in the 1/4 in stock form.

None of that stuff came from the factory.

This is the message the seller just sent me:
"This car has no mechanical modificatins, its all original. Rear tail was an option. You will appreciate the car and condition when you see it".
Is there a registry for Camaros? I know Pontiac has one. I would like to contact them for more details. The originasl factory stickers with the VIN, etc are still on the doors.

It might have come on the car when he bought it, but it did not come from the factory that way. I can tell you that there is nothing in the parts book showing those parts. There was some RS option body kit parts, but they are not like what is in your pic.
