AC problems...

Mods, I hope I put this in the right forum if not, feel free to move...

Anyways, every now and then when I put on my AC for my '02 WS6, it blows cold air but not at the strenght of even the 1st setting. And if I put it to the 2-4 settings, I can hear the blower kick in, but it doesn't oush the air through the vents. Is this a common problem, and if so is there an easy fix? I'm going to be bringing my car in to have my passenger headlight looked at, and while it's there I'm thinking of having them look at the AC system. Any help?

Re: AC problems...

Sounds like the flap that changes wher the air comes out may be sticking. Have you checked the defrost vent, and the ones on the floor when it does this?

What?
He said its cold, but the velocity of it coming out is sometimes down.
The Compressor has nothing to do with that.

Check the vacuum system for the flapper doors. Hose could be off or broken, check valve faulty, etc.
try replaceing the compressor

Ok thanks guys, I'll take a look. It's a relatively easy fix right?
