AC Problems

How can you tell exactly what is causing our AC system to not work? Is there a way to find out if its the compressor/evap/or whatever? Id really like to get my ac working again but i have no idea where to start...

Re: AC Problems

The AC system has a pressure transducer to look for a minimum pressure valve before the computer signals the AC compressor to run. If you system has a leak, your pressure may be below the minimum valve. Diagnostic software can read the AC pressure value. I'd take it to an AC shop and get an estimate of what they want to diagnose/fix the system.
