AC problem

My car seems to be having a little bit of an issue again what else is new. But anyways I took my car out of the garage and the ac is nice and cold but if i leave it parked in the sun outside through out the day i get in it the passanger side ac is cold as ice and the the drivers side is hotter then hell. I got a freeon boost and still same thing. Normally it wouldnt be a big issue to me but its been 120 in vegas for the past couple days. Please help completly confused.

Normal

My car does the same thing when it gets super heated inside of it. It just takes a while for the ductwork to cool off as well as the interior.

To really check what temp your getting out of the vents put a mechanics thermometer. Mostly all my customers have the same problem here in texas. one its over 100 degrees it takes time to cool also second if you have a dark interior it takes time. Only thing to do right now is put fan speed at medium and park in a shaded area till it cools enough.

When you charged your A/C did you take it to a professional or did you use a can? Reason I ask is your car may need more freon or have a problem somewhere. I have had some customers cars blow cold on one side and warm on the other and fixed the problem by adding freon.

Does your car have dual climate? if it does, check all the connections to the blend door and make sure it moves. something else to look into is the heat/cold blend door. just a wild idea, but as the door changes over, one side is cold and one side is warm. whos to say the driver duct is on the warm side and the passenger is on the cold and the air cant mix well before getting shot out. dumb idea, but worth saying. i think joez is on the right track.
