97 RS turn signal day running lamp not working?

I have a 97 camaro rs, and the driver side turn signal that is supposed to stay on constantly unless flashing for a turn signal is not staying on. It works fine when I put my turn signal on, but will not constantly glow when the turn signal is not in use. I replaced the bulb, didn't fix it. Any ideas?

Not exactly "Advanced Tech"..... let's move this to "General 67-02 F-Body Tech".

It might be a bad socket. I've had 2 on my '97 go bad.

Socket? By that do you mean the part that the bulb physically sits in?

Yes. For some reason on the 97's the socket get corrosion in them. I've replaced two of mine.

I'll replace that soon as possible, would just an Advance Auto or something carry this?

Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is (too close to the ground, water backsplash into the front turn signal buckets?) but the front sockets seem to corrode pretty easily.

Anyone know the part number for this? It's like 40 bucks at an advance auto and I'm gonna try to find it a bit cheaper somewhere else.
