Smile 97 Camaro tune question.

I got a 1997 camaro lt1 with longtube headers, k&n air intake, trickflow elbow, holley 80mm throttle body, y offroad pipe, and magnaflow exhaust.
Would my car need a tune with these mods ? Im located in Southern California Los Angeles if anyone can recommend me a good tune shop that can help me out i realy appreciate it or any tune shop in California . thank you.

Re: 97 Camaro tune question.

In general, you can gain with a tune on a totally stock engine. 10-15 HP just from leaning out the overly rich target A/F ratio in power enrichment (PE = ~WOT) mode. Most of your mods increase the air flow into/exhaust out of the engine, and the MAF sensor is capable or picking up the air flow changes, so a tune isn't essential, but I would do it. The tune is simple enough that a decent mail-order tuner can handle it, if you can't find a local hands-on tuner.

LT1 PCM Tuning - Welcome!

Coukd you clarify the "holley 80mm throttle body"..... never heard of one of those for an LT1. How are you getting the long tube headers through CARB inspections?
