Is this typical for all camaros or just V8's in general. For instance, when i drive in the parking lot and dont add gas, the car just dies. Is this normal??

No. All Camaros, and V8's in general do not stall when you don't give them part throttle. The PCM is designed to keep them idling at a specific speed, depending on whether the car is stopped, or still moving. They should NEVER stall.

The PCM should hold the idle at spec, using the small idle air control (IAC) valve in the plate on the bottom of the throttle body. IAC valve could be faulty. The tune could be too far off at idle. Or you could have the EGR valve stuck open.

A PCM data log might help pin down the source of the problem.

If you dont know what those are then i suggest you take it to someone that knows performance cars.
Find a local f-body board and ask for recomended shops around you

You have to read what people post when they are trying to help you. I thought I explained pretty clearly what the IAC valve is.

PCM is the computer (Powertrain Control Module) that keeps your engine running and your transmission shifting.

Spend some time looking over the photos and information on Shoebox's website - particularly the component location photos:
