I need help. My abs inop light came on i got my brakes changed back and front and then the light went off. The other day i came to a stop and the light came back on can anyone help me what can it be..

 

Its often a sign of one of the wheel speed sensors going out.... could be a faulty sensor, a wiring problem, or just excessive dirt buildup on the sensor. You need to find a shop with a high-end scanner, like the OTC Tech-II (GM service tool) that can read the EBCM codes. That will tell you exactly what the problem is.

Is the "BRAKE" light also on? Doe you car have ABS (only) or ABS + Traction Control?

 

My buddy was using an LED third brake light with no ballast resistor and it deactivated his ABS and cruise control.

 

Check your Third Brake Light (whether it's LED or not), if it's not working it will make your ABS Light come on.
