95 Z28 Ignition cylinder problem need help!

Guys I think my ignition cylinder is completely shot, something must have fell apart on the inside of the cylinder because I can't even insert my key. Thank goodness this happened at home. I looked into replacing the cylinder but I believe the ignition has to be turned back into the lock position for it to be removed. I can't get my key in so is that possible without tearing some **** up? I can wire up a push button start but I have an a4 trans and I don't think it will shift out of park with the ignition like it is. What do I do??! I guess if all else fails I can just go in there and break what I need to but.. I'd appreciate any input anyone has to offer

The cylinder can be removed without rotating it, but the airbag, steering wheel, clockspring, lock plate and turn signal switch need to be removed
